Any ideas? It's either Nickel plated brass or silver, non-magnetic.
Found on the side of a hill in Southern CA.
No patent number, just a pat date.

Looks like it might be some sort of plastering or tile laying tool for working on curved surfaces .

I'm leaning towards a specialty scraper. Like for moulding paint removal.

This one won't work, it's way too flimsy for that.
As far as the date goes, it's definetely 1891, not 1991 because they don't do that on items anymore (Pat Oct 27, 91).
Anyone know of a way to search this patent date without a patent number associated with it (yes, I already tried google, etc.). Cool
