This is a map out of 1675  by Arent Roggeveen and printed in Amsterdam in the ,, zee atlas , Het Brandend Veen  ,,  . As you will notice , and what was done quite often , the North and South are reversed in this map . I thought it would be nice to post this part of the map . The original is too big to put on this web-site .  Cornelius

Hello Cornelius:
I wish those dots on "Sarah" were "X" marks the spots. Instead, I know they represent Beacon Key and the smaller keys that stretch to the NE. Then again, I don't recall there being ten keys when I was there.
