Been there 2-3 times last winter. There's alot of tabs and foil around the upper beach area. I never came home with more than a dollar in change. The last time I was there I caught a glimpse of another Excal owner working the beach to the south he must have cleaned it out already. It was also dead of winter so there weren't many people there to lose jewelry. I originally thought that this would be a good beach due to its age, but I was disappointed, mainly because of the long ride for me to get there. Good Luck Hunting Steve the `tab hunter
