You don't need a different machine - but let me welcome you to water hunting! If you turn up your Disc. enough you will loose some of the scrape stuff but then again you'll loose small gold rings as well. I hunt with the whites water machine as well as a minelab and there is no difference! You simply have to dig a little trash to get the goodies. Good luck!
