Sorry about th delay, I was away. My compressor is quite small, about the size of a football. You can run it off a small generator. I run it off a big truck battery with an inverter because I dont like the noise and possible fumes associated with a generator. I have about 100' of hose attached to a 2nd stage regulator. The 2nd stage is from a 20 year old Healthways regulator. The compressor is also old but runs great. It has a small regulator to control the pressure. The new models I have seen are even smaller and generaly don't have a regulator. They are supposed to provide air at 25 psi. WARNING! IT MUST BE AN OIL-LESS COMPRESSOR. Good Luck
