Not pennies. Glad quarters, dimes, nickles get a green corroision on them after being in salt water for a while. When you get greenies that means you are in a spot that the sand has been removed. Were the sand has been removed, theres gold there. Always hunt a spot real good when you are getting grennies...HH...John
