I've never seen a barnacle on a coin. You must not have much surf at your beach. The only way a barnacle could live on a coin is if the coin remained above the sand or mud for a long time.

It would be a great conversation piece.

Do any have the complete barnacle shell intact?

I would like to see a picture.
