Underwater detecting in Canada - Ontario August 19, 2003 at 15:09:23

I am thinking about investing in a Underwater Metal detector and hitting the beaches in my area. Can anyone give me some tips on the best detector to buy for this (I want a detector that is underwater and out-of-water). And can someone give me an inspirational story from around my area of great finds on the beach and the water.
