I have the QXT and a hunting partner of mine has a XLT and a IDX. WE both like the QXT, It has better sizing help that the xlt, The IDX does not have depth and several other features of the QXT. All of these are fine machines but nothing can do everything, but the QXT is my personal favorite all around machine, and my friends is the XLT. They fell the same, and weight the same as well as the IDX. Given the fact that the QXT is only slightly more than the IDx I would go with the QXT.
