Dan I have to wonder how long you used the QXT and if you ever really gave it a chance. I know many people who are into playing with all the good detectors, but don't have enough time to give them all there best.

Yesterday I had two hours to kill and went to an old outdoor theatre that was closed about 25 years ago. The area has been heavily hunted all those years and is also carpeted with trash. QXT 5.3 blue max sensitiveity at 12, coin mode(not much time) noise reduction off. Retieved 22 coins most over 25 years, and at least 3 inches deep, and everyone close to trash. This machine works much better than most people thinks it does.
