I own a XLT, previously had a Silver Eagle. Only bad thing about the XLT is the LCD screen update is slow, while the spectrum/silver eagle screens update fast. Definitely keep the eagle spectrum.

Why not mix it up a little and get another top notch machine like the Minelab Soverign XS Pro. Now is the time to buy one used. All the hard core Minelab users will be dumping their Soverigns to get the new high dollar Explorer. I would bet used Soverign prices will drop from about 500 to around $400 ... or less!

Wait till spring warms things up and people start purchasing their new toys, and you can get a deal on a used proven top notch machine for a song.
