I know I sould not worry so much about it because I can already see this wont be the only MD I will own. I live in Enumclaw WA. near seattle. I don't understand hot rocks. Quarts? Certin minerals? Dont even know if the ground I'm going for is HOT!? I rockhound a lot,(If quarts is HOT! this would be good!) and think it would be nice to "SHOOT FOR NUGGETS" while I am looking for new sites. Also in the winter I would like to "SHOOT FOR RELICS AND COINS".This already means two machines$$$. I am looking at the LoboST,GarretGTI2500(bell and whistels),or maybe the MinlabXL1800. Any comment would help!! P.S. Two MD's are inevitable, the better half will not be HAPPY! digging all my finds, especialy in HOT GROUND! Thanks RL
