I've had a problem with my CZ-7 for about a year: about 25% of the time, using the pinpoint causes it to lose power so that it resets itself back to the default settings. I've talked with Fisher about it. They were sympathetic, offered a great deal of helpful advice (it would have to be sent back to the US, since it was purchased there) on international shipping. In the end, I decided to live with the problem rather than risk shipping it and having to do without my most-used detector for a month or more.
