I got my detector about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I played around with it in the yard about a week an a half. Found a bunch of trash and about 11 cents in pennies. The first Saturday I had a chance to get out was on the 19th of this month. I asked wife if she wanted to go she said " I'm not even interested in that!" Well I spent about 2 hours there and found nothing but pennies. I thought to myself this is a penny finding sucker. Well yesterday, the 25th, I took the day off because I had to work today. My wife decided she would take the day off too, I had aready planned to hit a park close to the house. We stopped and got some breakfast and she picked up a newspaper. We got to the park found a baseball field tucked away in the back of the park and decided to start there. She sat down in the bleachers and started reading the paper and I started swingin'. Well after about a hour I had only produced about 16 pennies and was beginning to think that my detector was a piece of crap when I found a nickel. It was about that time I decided to take a break. My wife had finished reading and asked if she could try it, so I handed her the detector and she started swingin'. It wasn't 5 minutes and she popped up a dime, then another. This was tickin' me off. But what really got me was in 30 minutes she came up with 4 dime 6 pennies and 3 quarters. We took a lunch break and then she was ready to go again. We found about $3.00 in clad and had a great time together. I think I lost my detector though, but only 200 more days like that and I can spend grand on better detector and she can have that one....LOL HH gang
