Hello all. Just got a new Bandido II uMax and I have to say I'm impressed with its sensitivity and discrimination capabilities. (Thanks, Dutch) The only complaint I have against the machine is the tendency with which the knobs can get accidentally bumped and turned, screwing up your settings without you knowing it.

Question, though. Do you all think that silent search results in missed finds? After having used a Garrett's for so many years I've come to rely on that threshhold sound rising just that little bit to alert me to those deep targets. Any thoughts?
