Anyone ever?-A stupid question.
August 29, 2000 at 17:56:08

I drive over a bridge on the way to work and home every day. The bridge is over the Mississippi River south of St. Louis. I have noticed that the river has been down alot , exposing 20 to 30 feet of shore , or more, along the river. It has been that way a great deal of the summer. Is this a good place to detect? If so what type of finds would one expect? Could there be good finds there or just junk? Is along rivers or such a good place to try detecting even if it may not have been a swimming area or the like? I hope this isn't to dumb a question. Thanks, Jeff
