Hi Keith The 20 is the mechine for what you want OK but for land hunting you will lose about two inches over the other CZ's not to say it won't still go deeper then most top unit on todays market. If you go with any thing less you won't be getting the deeper coins and jewelry that is tipical for the Fisher units and the money difference doesen't count because it will pay for its self in no time at all . I live in the Ocala are and hunt both the Golf side and the Atlantic and my mechine has payed for its self time and time again > Hay ! good luck HH . A TREASURE FOUND IS "A FRIEND " BUTCH MAYES
