Mark,

What part of Minn are you from?? I am just accross the boarder here in ND. I have used most of the machine you have mentioned and the one that is by far the best coin shooter for me is the Sovereign with the SunRay meter and Sunray probe. I get a more accruate ID on good from bad targets, but it lumps all the good coins in one area instead of telling you it is a dime or Quarter, but to me as long as it is a coin I want it. Even after you have used it for a while you can tell the pulltabs from other items like tokens and rings. The Sovereign takes a little to get used to as it is a slow working machine, but it will cover more ground on evey swing of the loop with the double D coil. I also have the Explorer by Minelab and it too is a great machine, but with the Sunray meter and Probe the Sovereign is the one that I do the best with. There is around 10 of us in the area that have used other machine and now we use the Sovereign as we like the find we are getting with it.

Let see what others say about the Sovereign and if you would like I can give you the web site of the best Minelab fourm. I will E Mail you it if you like.

Rick
