Perhaps calling Al as Chet said is a good piece of advice especially since he is from your neck of the woods and knows what works best in your area....As far as meters go, depends on your area, what type of hunting(there are many varied types) what machine you will be using as some have much more audio variances in determining whats under the coil...Personally prefer a unit that gives ball park segments as units that go from perhaps 1 to 100 can spoil you and indeed cause you to lose many good targets as indeed many facets can have that meter read a digit or 3 off...Good luck...Al calls em as he sees em.......
