I will tell you strait out that to effectively and best support the requirements you have laid out you will be best served with two seperate machines. Land hunting, and diving to 50 feet are just two seperate worlds.
Waterproof eliminates so many good machines. For land the White's XLT, IDX, QXT, Garrett 2500-1500, Fisher CZ-5 -7, Minelab Sovereign or Explorer.
For water with discrimination I would suggest Fisher's CZ-20, 1260 or Minelab's Excalibur.
