Good idea Chet, the Pro is the only one I haven't tried in the CZ line. I had a CZ 7a, but it just didn't feel right and was obviously heavier than the Pro. After three major back surgeries I have to be careful about weight and method of swinging loops. I'll probably end up with only Micro Max type units eventually of which there are two here at present: Golden and Diablo. If Tesoro could only fit the LST works into a MM machine with both manual GB and auto tracking features and selectable tone ID I would need only one machine - never use notch.

I don't know if you have ever done a test on the difference between the LST in the all metal mode versus the disc mode (at its very lowest setting,) but there's almost no difference in signal strength on say a 1 gram nugget at any given distance from the coil. It performs somewhat like the White's GM-2 with iron ID on. And you're right on the LST, it's a permanent member of my arsenal. It's crazy here this winter so far. I've been pulling between $8 and $10 face value every outing within 30 minutes drive from my home. This is a giant campground at the base of the mountain just below a local very popular ski resort and next to a beautiful mountain lake. They're praying for snow and I'm not. It's really enjoyable to coin shoot there in january without the need for a coat at over 6000 feet elevation, but I know it will soon end.

HH,
