What modern metal detector have you gotten rid of and why? January 08, 2001 at 20:29:55 Mine was a Compass Xp 450 scanner. A good machine, but I liked my QXT better, and decided I would like to have a back-up that was waterproof, so I traded in on a Stingray II.
