detectorists should help feds
September 21, 2001 at 07:51:29

Hi,

I've been watching cnn, fox, bbc cover the wtc/pentagon investigation, again my sympathies. I would like to bring to your attention the pensylvania crash site, i have seen footage of investigators combing the site even a river. If there would be someone who would ever find something in that kind of enviroment it would be a detectorist even without his or her detector. I don't know if its true for you but it has been a force of habbit for me to stare at the ground while walking around and i find a lot of lost coins even without my machine...how much more if you have a coordinated effort to find evidence or even a ring or two that would help a loved one experience closure. Our hobby has helped us develop an analytical mind, sharp eye and patience, 3 things needed for searching a crash site. I have read about and seen volunteers doing almost anything to help, i know you guys can. I would if i where there.

God bless,

jose
