Hi Dan,
I realy dont know anything on the gold machines so i cant help you, but maybe some one can.
I got a good deal on a IDX Pro and my wife has been using it and realy doing good with it. This is her first Target ID machine and I think she wont give it up for now.
Good to hear you are stii going at it and I hope you are doing well.
