Try looking for any club to join-be it gold,gems and minerals or detecting. You'll meet some great folks,learn good local areas,lousy regulations,and shorten your learning time considerably. The largest MD club in USA is FMDAC-try out thei website for your local at FMDAC.com Tons a luck to ya-John
