of course they don't want us uneducated untrained morons to find remnants of past civilizations because we won't understand the importance of our discoverys. well i don't know about you but just because we don't have degrees in a given field doesn't mean we aren't qualified to appreceiate our heritage and our history.i'm sure it bothers them to have to share the facinating field of archeology with those of us that didn't invest years and dollars to get a degree and i suppose i can see from their view where we aren't qualified. however,we are qualified and entitled.we do the research and invest hundreds,even thousands in equipment and training and it's for nothing more than the thrill of discovery. we for the most part don't mind sharing and they shouldn't either.the experts would do well to remember it was engineers that built the titanic,it was a farmer that built the ark.
