Just wondering how effective are the beach cleaning machines.Spotted one yesterday on the beach......a revolving drum type machine with a hollow centre that empties all into a hopper, it is towed along by a tractor. How deep do they go? do they just turn over the surface as I noticed there was alot of paper and plastic in the hopper, or do they get all stuff down to 6 inches or so?
