Tesoro just won this years GNRS. The targets were 7-8" deep or more on average. The ground had no mineralization but was hard and rocky. Sounds like Tesoro did all right on depth! I know at least a couple of guys that were going to use the Cortes but most probably used the Banditto II uMax or the Eldorado. By the way the finds were awesome. I use a Whites 6000 XL PRO AND a Tesoro Banditto II uMax and they compliment each other well. In the nasty trash the Tesoro is my pick and for fairly clean areas the 6000XL PRO is my favorite. I have several coils for each detector and that adds alot to their versatility. Either will do a good job if the operator learns the machine well!
