Jason,

Every machine from the most basic to the top of the line will sometimes ID rusty iron as silver. You can't get around it. Small deep rusty nails are the worst, they sound just like a coin. The bigger stuff is easier. If you raise your coil 6-8" off the ground and can still get a signal its not a coin. HH Tom
