jason - i'm pretty sure that you will have a lot better experience with the xlt or any of the upper line of whites detectors. (whites is the only kind that i have ever purchased) however, i can also guarantee that even the best detector will throw you a curve once in a while. whichever new detector of the new line that you purchase, hang in with it until the oddities become commonplace and you will be richly rewarded for your efforts. wayne
