You can use the tests as a basic outline on how a particular machine funtions, but don't look for any "real" information.. It seems that basically what happens is that the person conducting the field test familiarizes himself with all of the catch phrases that the manufacturer uses in their promotions, and then inserts them in appropriate places in his "test".. You'll also notice how every machine is taken to site that has been "worked out", or really "hammered to death", but theses new wonder machines always seem to prove their mettle by finding
some items that have eluded all the machines that have passed above previously.. I know it sounds cynical, but do you suppose the guys who test also benefit from positive results?? Imagine if a writer wrote that a particular machine really was no better than its predesessor..It would really bring in the advertising $$, wouldn't it..Sorry for the long post......
