You have to pass your coil above a target in oprder for it to be found.. That's all that winning a competion such as this proves.. Another thing to note is that we treasure hunters tend to exaggerate the depth at which we find items..Many times it's a pure guesstimate..I've looked where guys have claimed to have "found a mercury at 7 inches", and I swear they must have jhalfway filled the hole in before they showed it to me..
