Wet soil does indeed produce more deepies alomng with easier digging. Drawback it also cause greater conductivity to the junk and can cause target masking. Myself always head to an old deepies location after a good steady rain, good hard thunderstorms also help to electrify targets for deeper recovery...Sometimes that extra inch makes the difference....
