Ok, here is my 2 cents worth. I have ordered from Kellyco in the past. Their price on the detector I had chosen (Garrett GTA) could not be beat. It came in a resonable amount of time and has worked flawlessly for years. But, I also ordered a pair of headphones. These were special headphone designed for the GTA by Garrett. Thats what I was told buy the sales person. These were the biggest pile of junk, could have done better at Wal-mart. I called Garrett. They said they did not have that kind of headphones for the GTA1000. Looking at the headphones showed that the side panels had stickers on them. "GTA" was printed on them. Not Garrett. These were some surplus garbage they had placed "GTA" stickers on, and passed off a genuine Garrett headphones. But they were careful enough not the infringe on Garretts name by only using GTA. The same item was later found at Radio Shack for half the price I paid. I have visited their store in person. I was wanting to look at a perticular detector. But I was consently steered away by the sales person. To a brand I did not want, and a price double my budget. I felt like I was in a used car dealership!! But since they deal in volume, It will hard to beat there prices. Although I have found other dealers here in FL willing to match their price. Luckly I have never had to return a detector to Kellyco. Several members of our local club have dealt with Kellyco, some good, some bad. I have heard lots of bad. It seems with a poor reputation on service and passing off seconds, they would try to repair thier image. But since they are the big guys on the block, they must not care. Good Luck to all and happy hunting!
