sad but true there are dealers out there that are in it for the money and thats all.i myself wouldn't buy something from somebody that didn't know crap about the unit they're selling.how would you get technical support from a guy like that? i kind of had the same experience when i bought mine,only all i wasted was a phone call. same thing happened,they had one dfx in stock,didn't know much about it except what it said on the box and the suggested retail price was $1099 and thats what it would cost me.well they didn't sell one to me and it's safe to say they probably still have that same unit in stock.perhaps what i should have said was if you have a reputable dealer talk to him first.you're right ,there's a big difference between a "dealer"and some bozo out to seperate you from your money.
