duck hugger told the quacks of life
September 26, 2003 at 14:30:40

From the land of the Bluenose....and the sign said "Do not feed the Ducks." First Lake here in Lower Sackville for the past few years is not fit to swim in due to duck dodo which causes the swimmers itch. Mentioned this to a lady today who was sitting on the beach in duck dodo as her two grand children where waist high in the water feeding the ducks. "All the welts to you"I say
I was on my best behaviour and explained nicely about the bacteria caused by the ducks and how they stick around during the winter and freeze to death. She retorted that I was mudding up the water to which I showed her a few live 308 shells (got one the other day too), nails, cans etc. that I had in my pouch. I ended the conversationby telling her that it was because of the ducks that her grand children would never know the joy of swimming here. No rings today but a pouch full of junk and 39 coins totaling $4.33
