Your right about the 20 inches. I have used a SD2100 for well over a year now. Previous to that I owned a SD2000. I have found over 500 nuggets in the last two years and never found a nugget at 20 inches. I have found some really large nuggets deep, but 20 inches with a 8 inch mono. I wouldn't even believe it with a new 11 inch mono. I witnessed a large nugget found in the Arizona desert with a 8 inch mono. The nugget was hardly heard at 15 inches in red clay. They signal was just a disturbance in the threshold. After removing the nugget from the hole, it was so large that it would cover part of your palm. The nugget weighed in at about 5 oz. I guess the guy from Key West thought he would pull one over on us experienced nugget hunters. The guy with the Gold bug probably found all the nuggets. Ha Ha......
