Thanks to Arizona Al, for leading me to a really nice site. Spent Memorial weekend up at Oak Creek in the Bradshaws, actually got some nice color. I still have lots of concentrates to go thru, hoping for lots more.
Came across a cowboy with his wife and 2 young kids walking, had gotten themselves stuck about 7 miles from home. Turns out he is the caretaker of the streach of private land that the creek runs thru, and after saving them from a very long walk, he gave me permission to camp anywhere I like on the ranch. Found a great spot by the creek, water was running just enough to use my rocker as a sluice box, with good results. Weather was perfect, met some nice folks.
