Got MY blood pumping !!! Problem is, there are too many other metals or ranges of metals with the same conductivity range as gold and gold alloys. I don't see how they could invent a "gold only" machine under those circumstances. Maybe they're working on some new technology that identifies gold by some means other than it's conductivity level. That would be interesting, to say the least. Guess we can keep our fingers crossed anyway......
Have you heard of or seen the "White's" Gold Trac - 2 at the www.finders.com site ? Auto ground tracking and silent search it claims. Actually is built in Australia under contract to Finders using White's components. Haven't seen one (other than the photo on their site) and haven't communicated with anyone who has as of yet. Sounds like it might give the Tesoro Lobo Super Traq some competition if it works in that nasty Western Aussie ground ! Would like to "experience" one sometime.
