Phil,

Minelab's SD 2100 fact and spec sheet (on web)

The SD 2100 uses a newly developed technology known as Multi Period Sensing, (MPS). MPS enable the SD 2100 to distinguish between "ground response" and a"target response." What remains is a clear distinct target signal from only metal objects like gold nuggets. The removal of the "ground response" enables the SD 2100 to penetrate up to 4 times deeper than any other detector on the market.

In highly mineralized ground where other detectors have difficulty even operating, the SD 2100 will find match-head size nuggets at depths of 3 feet or more! With the SD 2100, you'll be able to go back and successfully hunt at all of your favorite"hot spots"!

FEATURES Dual Manual Ground Balance Tone Adjustment Control Oscillating Frequency Tuning Threshold Adjustment Control 8" Monoloop Waterproof Coil 11" Double D Waterproof Coil 6 Volt Gel Cell Battery Pack Wall Battery Charger 12 Volt Auto Charger Minelab Deluxe Headphones 3-Piece Shaft Assembly Addional Lower Shaft Backpack 2 Year Warranty

Mine must be broken, it will not find match head size nuggets at three feet, go figure! Do you believe an SD 2100 will find match head size nuggets at three feet? If you do, are you interested in a bridge in NYC, real cheap?!

PS I will be in Reno next week, if you care to come out to the patch, we will put them to the test. You be the judge.
