Hi Steve,

The alkali mode on the LST does lose some sensitivity but not much. Yes there were quite a few 2000's sold in the states and you are correct about the 2100's being more sensitive(therefore more erratic). A complaint many had because they were use to the 2000's(which was much more stable). I know Tesoro has a distrubutor in Australia and you might find him and see about testing one out. I am curious as to how it handles the mineralization in Australia and any feedback would be apprectiated.
