Thanks for the feedback on the JW Fisher Pulse 8X and the other info in your post. I'll follow that up further. Very interesting indeed.

You know, I live in Kal but I've never made it to Meekatharra yet in the ten years I've been here. I've met quite a few other prospectors who've done well there. Have you always stayed around the Meeka area when you've been prospecting in WA before? Have you been to Kal on previous trips or are you planning to come here on your trip at the end of this year?

Not much of a city man myself, having spent most of my life on farms or small country towns, but Perth's not bad as far as cities go, and I've also noticed those lovely women you were talking about every time I've been there! The skyrocketing crime rate there takes a bit of shine off the place but I guess it's pretty well worldwide these days unfortunately.

Are you going to bring a Tesoro LST or a PI detector when you come over in October?
