Folsom bridge project

August 06, 1998 at 19:10:15

My boss just returned from a trip to the "left coast" and while out there struck up a conversation with someone about gold and prospecting. When he returned he was telling me about a bridge project that was being built over the American River. Seems whatever company is doing the bridge is also recovering gold from the dredgings in the river. Anyone heard about this, and if so, would you share some info on what kind of equipment would a person/company use to process a yard of material or better at a time?? Is it just a BIG-G-G sluice box? Its just kinda hard to imagine a sluice box that big, when mine is just a 14" box.

Thanks Good Luck 'specting.

NH Bill
