How to seperate Gold

August 10, 1998 at 12:43:28

Sat. I went out and tried Prospecting for the first time. (panning) I found a spot that looked promising and sure enough.. :o) Anyways.. I've pulled a couple of nuggets out and there is still a little flower/flakes left. How can I seperate it? I also have a 5 gallong bucket FULL of material. Is there a way to seperate it rapidly? It took all day Sun just to rough seperate a 1/2 gal. [I left all of the fines in the pan. (a finishing pan) ] Also, where can I find "How to build a dredge" instructions? Again, thanx in advance..
