Steve I didn't forget geochemical sampling. I do quite a bit of it for mining companies, however it is next to useless with coarse nuggety gold. The pan, or mill and pan for hard rock, will easily beat normal geochem sampling of coarse gold. With a milled 7kg sample I can see below normal detection limit for fire assays. I just have to be carefull that I don't miss any superfine gold reefs, but there are not many of them left to find anyway! Good luck.
