ha ha ha ha ha......I just couldn't resist ! Joe obviously doesn't know who you are.

Joe, if you're reading, Steve is one of the top nugget hunters in The Land of OZ and has probably logged more hours in those "harsh conditions" than 99 percent of us stateside hunters. Steve knows his stuff and has probably used nearly every gold machine on the market, including the SD2000, SD2100, and many, many others. Maybe not the 2200 yet, but I'm sure it won't be long until he gives it a go. Steve and another frequent poster, "Viper", will be testing one of Eric Foster's new prototype machines in OZ this winter (winter for us) while I (and hopefully Eric himself) will be field testing another of his prototype gold machines here in the states. This machine will have ground compensation circuitry, two levels of discrimination capability, high / low output power selection, and many other new design improvement concepts, all in a package weighing ALOT less than the SD machines, including the battery pack. And you won't have to refinance your house or car to afford one.........(!) If you keep an eye on Eric's Metal Detecting Technology Forum, you will likely see posts concerning it's progress, and you will definately see the field reports once they are completed.....www.insidetheweb.com/mbs.cgi/mb122618
