Need Serious Advice

August 22, 1998 at 10:53:48

While dredging this year on one of my claims, I started finding lots of sulfides in my cons. Even large chunks of chalcopyrite. I decided to do some serious prospecting, and found what appears to be a large massive sulfide deposit. I staked and filed a lode claim, and certified assays are showing large concentrations of copper, silver, zinc, gold, etc. Samples average 5% copper, and high grade to 22%, with 190 grams silver to the ton. Gold runs anywhere from .3 grams to 1 1/2 grams per ton. Zinc runs to 1.5%. The creeks yeild placer gold of 35 mesh plus, with lots of matchhead size nuggets, but I haven't yet found this in place. Must be there somewhere though.

Question is, what do I do with it? Has anyone worked with any of the large companies? Or the junior exploration companies? The exploration necessary to size and grade a deposit like this are out of my range of expertise, or budget. At the same time, I'd like to realize something out of my find. With all the experience and knowledge on this forum perhaps someone out there has some sound advice. Thanks very much.
