Chuck: We have some small glacial gold in Michigan per old state reports. The state geologist found some nuggets in the U.P. of Mich in the 1840's but he drowned in Lake Superior before he told where. He likely found them near Ishpeming where there has been hard rock mining on and off for 100 years; but no placer mines.

I pospect mostly at the GPAA claim in Butler Ohio.Small glacial gold is easily found here with occasional pickers. The people who own this property do a great job maintaining it and making us feel welcome.

This coming season I plan to go south to LDMA and GGPA (Georgia Prospectors) claims.

Can anyone tell me which GGPA & LDMA claims in the south are the best?

Paul
