washington state a bad place to vacation

January 30, 1999 at 15:03:25

i just received a copy of the new working prospecting laws. we can prospect on the streams approximately 61 days. you will need an hydrolic permit to pan in the usual way in the stream. all other gold recovery will have to be done over 200 feet away from the stream - nothing from your operation will be allowed to return to the stream. metal detecting on the shore of any body of water will require a hydrolic permit. this is the stuff that i received so chek with any of your prospecting pals in this state , i don't believe that i have exadurated. also any camp ground or any other place on state or govt. land that you wish to park at is likely to have someone there to collect a parking fee. i personall expect to spend my vacations in oregon and idaho...wayne
