Hi Alan,

Yes , fossilised remains of side hill rabbits have been found in ancient sediments here in Australia and their right legs are twice as long as their left legs, indicating that they did travel anti-clockwise around the hills.

Scientists believe the species became extinct when the hills eroded away, causing the rabbits to fall over left side into the mud, where they are preserved as fossils today.

And thats fair dinki-di, cobber. :-)
